It helps to boost the skin’s natural defences to the sun. It helps protect the skin against the harmful effects of UVA and UVB radiation. It also boosts collagen production and helps the skin to renew itself by encouraging and supporting the development of new skin cells. All of this is great for those with acne – tomatoes work from the outside in to protect your skin.
Tomatoes are winners all round when it comes to acne treatments – not only is it a natural treatment but it an inexpensive way to help your skin. You will also generally have tomatoes on hand so you have a great emergency treatment at hand when you need it. Include fresh tomatoes in your daily diet and you will soon start seeing results.
